do your thing man, tons of bodybuilders adding in prolonged fasting,  John Meadows specifically used to implement it with his clients quite frequently.
He's on an 8 month fast right now.

Makes just as much sense, he was peddling a gimmick to differentiate himself from the tons of other prep coaches out there.

Anyway a lot of the top bodybuilders affiliated with Meadows did not use him for their diet. Only for training.

Terrance Ruffin was fasting. Vince Gironda was advocating 5 day fasts in the early 70s. It works wonders.

like I said,  do your thing. I eat 3,000 calories a day, by fasting 2 days a week I put myself in a 6,000 calorie deficit in which I don't have to induce by doing tons of cardio and just tiring out my physique and central nervous system for that matter, all the while healing my body through increased stem cell production, gh production, autagraphy, fat burning (ketosis).

Or you could just eat less everyday

increased stem cell production, gh production, autagraphy, fat burning .

Exercise does all those things too and for some it's far more enjoyable than fasting

like I said,  do your thing.

Yeah I agree everyone needs to do their own thing, but you seem to approach it from the view that there is only one thing that works.  If you've got more serious issues then you'd be better off on a restrictive diet, but not everyone has issues with carbs, overeating, dieting, digestive problems etc.

I guarantee there are loads of people on here that have tried every diet under the sun and the majority will say the same thing. There is no magic pill (diet) It's more a case of avoiding certain types of foods (processed and sugar ladened) and drinks and avoiding certain bad habits.

Lol..have you listened to bodybuilders complain? Joint pain, bloating, digestive distress, sleep apnea, chronic gas, taking all kinds of "greens powders" fiber supplements, getting colonics, acid reflux. All these issues would be greatly diminished or most likely resolved with prolonged fasting and a carnivore diet. But again do what works for you.

If someone lifts and exercises and the goal is more health oriented then most of the stuff you mentioned is a never an issue. Quite the opposite in fact.

If someone lifts and the goal is for size and competitive look then they'll likely suffer from all the above. They'll probably also have taken things like oral which exasperate the situation. Things like keto and intermittent fasting for prolonged periods also doesn't cut it for most people with those extreme goals.

So basically if you bodybuild to the more extreme end you pay a price on this other side. You end up having to do extreme things (restrictive diet) just to feel healthy again.

If you wanna preach something, preach that.

Coffee is fucking garbage, wrecks your gut, your cortisol levels, and your sleep, not to mention full of toxins. Ditch caffeine and watch your gains go through the roof.

Thanks for clarify you’re a nut job. I wasn’t completely sure.

l ;D I'm just about living the best possible life, bio-hacking, optimization, longevity,  all the while being jacked and getting bitches. But seriously it's terrible for you, vasoconstrictor fucks up blood flow, sleep=recovery, creates anxiety, cortisol, etc. I'd rather take some Sativa Marijuana for a pre workanyway. day.

That was the comment that sealed it for me too.

Should some people avoid coffee completely? Definitely, as not everyone metabolises caffeine the same and for a few the negatives from drinking  coffee may out weigh the benefits.

But for most coffee has excellent health benefits as it's rich in antioxidant, and here we have him telling us it's full of toxins.

Not even worth addressing the part about it holding back gains.

Coffee being healthy for us is all mainstream propaganda to sell more. it has nothing to do with health. Just like most of the products featured and pushed on TV. The people that can not start a day without a cup are simply addicts.

You're confusing coffee for caffeine. As I said some people who don't handle caffeine well need to stay away from coffee.

Then he would have lived 6 months more until his heart exploded

Either way this guy was going to die, not a matter of if but a matter of when

That’s a screenshot of an image of one person’s opinion who created it. Using words like “full of” and “most” are red flags in itself. I’ve been avoiding coffee myself, but you’ve got to post better info than a screenshot from social media with no sources. And speaking of studies, I remember reading a very large meta-analysis fairly recently that concluded that caffeinated coffee drinkers lived longer.

in order to do that you'd have to put 2 identical twins on the same diet, activity and everything else except for caffeinated drinks. In a controlled environment over the years . Everything else is just speculation.

just go 3 days without caffeine and experience the detox, that's enough evidence to know its not good for you, extreme headaches, lethargy, muscle pain, depression, anxiety, irritability, tremors, etc. It takes some people up to a year to fully recover their energy levels from quitting caffeine. It took me about 10 days 5 were pure hell, never again.

yes and watch your gains explode, your fat dissappear, with zero cardio. Add in a carnivore diet, you'll feel reborn.

My gains will explode if I eat no calories 29-43% of the week?

He prescribed it to his clients, John Himself ate like shit, he even says it, the guy loved doughnuts, not to mention ate zero nutrient dense foods during prep, nothing but processed shit- egg whites, cream of rice, whey, clusterdextrin, tuna prepackaged,  couldn't be worse than that. However he was smart and new his shit, he ultimately died due to the vaccine,  he already had a bad heart, plus on trt, plus vaccine=bad things happen.

Egg whites and tuna are processed?

You learn something new every day.

Do you think these two foods are a big reason for the obesity crisis?

Could you imagine if everyone started to eat egg whites, tuna, cream of rice, and whey protein every day?

egg whites have zero nutritional value and packaged tuna super high in mercury. Cream of rice processed, rice processed, protein powder processed,  cyclicdextrin processed. He dieted for a show on egg whites and ketchup for weeks, when all he needed to do was eat steak and eggs.
