BTW - there is no shortage of shooting incidents over parking spots in this country and those are often spots in parking lots at stores where the spot doesn't belong to anyone.

For a brief moment I thought the neighbor approached Shane Post in a Batman costume. Had this been the case, I would have immediately moved the vehicle and apologized as there is never a good reason to mess with a man that has the courage to don a Batman costume in real life without him being armed to the teeth.

Afterwards, I realized it was just a random black guy who really holds this parking spot dear to his heart. We don't know all the specifics here. For all we know, that parking spot could have been passed down from his father. It could have been the site where this neighbor first learned how to walk, catch a ball or even hop onto a pickup on his way to his first day of work. The moral here is to be thoughtful of your neighbor's parking spot.

I'm sure the IFBB pro will be fine. With the sheer amount of muscle that he carries, I highly doubt that bullet made its way past the most superficial layer of muscle.

Two totally different scenarios. The entire Rittenhouse case was based on video that showed clear self defense because both parties were armed with Kyle being attacked by three that had weapons. Shane had no weapon, dude shot an unarmed man.

Yep there are many different things that could have happened

It was Shane's friend who parked in the neighbors spot (apparently to unload so stuff) and Shane was parked in his own spot

Shane could have parked on the street and told his friend to park in his spot

Shane could have called his neighbor and asked for permission to park in his spot for a few minutes.

Why didn't Shane just apologize and say they would move the truck right away?

Shane fucked up and no matter what happens to his neighbor in terms of legal consequences Shane is the one is who has a bullet in his gut and will have to live with the long term health consequences of getting shot.

I had my car keyed many years ago when i parked in someone's "spot" inside an apartment complex that did NOT have assigned parking.
