South Carolina is an "At Will" state.  It means my employment can be terminated for any reason...good, bad, no reason.

I was already warned at the beginning of the year that i was going to get more work due to everyone leaving the workforce these days.  But why do i care??  I work from home in my pajamas watching tv.  What i don't do that day , i'll do tommorrow. 

Why do you care anyway???  Your next job is being fertilizer..

I think so too. I've known the guy for over 2 decades and he has always been a really nice, funny and humble guy.
