Schwarzenegger went into office with the right-wing fervor of Trump but, within a few months realized that, for him, being liked was more important than fighting for a cause larger than himself. With that realization, he immediately turned on a dime to become a get-along, bipartisan guy. That was the genesis of Arnold the cuck. There may have been some kind of agreement between Schwarzenegger and the left because as soon as he left office the media started reporting that he had a Guatemalan son, so there was that constant scandal fear and left-wing bargaining chip hanging over his head almost his entire term. Schwarzenegger's governorship is widely regarded by the right as a massive disappointment. In like a lion, out like a woke lamb and Schwarzenegger stays that way to this day. He could handle bodybuilding and acting but governmental politics permanently broke him.
