Pro autograph seekers are like paparazzi in that "celebrities" have a love/hate relationship with them as well as a professional understanding with because they deal with each other a lot. They're more like sponges that turn around and immediately sell the autographed photos to companies, unlike actual fans that usually want some kind of memento and are not looking to profit off them.

Ah - that explains why they all had shiny memorabilia. I was wondering about that.

A part of me says that would be pretty cool to have experiences like that, but - they also must get stale quickly. I've also seen extremely old celebrities get hounded. There was one with Sean Connery, when he must have been 87 when the video was taken. I felt bad for him more than anything. In another one, Stan Lee was being followed and interviewed. Same thing - I felt bad for him.

This is the Stan Lee one - when you stop and think that he was 93 here, and it was only two years before he died, you kind of feel sad for him [well - I do].
