The elites that hate the founders of the United States and their heritage and prefer a more 'genocidal smiting all of humanity except for their miserable selves type of world order' know that the lowly "gun-control" dupes will not be able to compute 100,000,000 murders under totalitarian governments being worse than 1000s being shot through gun violence. The lowlife-level anti-constitution argument is something along the lines of "you don't need an AR-15 to fish", when the First Amendment is not about fishing and is not limited to protecting yourself against burglars.
These elites have a daunting task - to disarm the entire Western world and take it over. The Constitution was written in such a way to prevent exactly that.
In WWII, even after they burnt Hitler's regime to ashes, they sustained massive losses, and STILL had/have the American Empire to deal with.
Their goals are so daunting, it almost makes me feel sorry for them. For as much power as they may have as represented by the biggest portion per-capita, and the biggest chunk of the media pie chart - at the end of the day, as long as the Constitution is working, they can only get so far.
And even if they did manage to take control over the USA, they may have to a situation to deal with like a nuclear France becoming nationalistic - yet again putting a spoke in their tires, the way Hitler's Germany did.
If they weren't such elitist control freaks, I would actually feel sorry for them a little. But after they got what they wanted for two years across most of the West during the pandemic, I have a lot of anger for them again.
