Milos 1996 canada pro diary

1996 Canada Pro Prep (last week) 🤫. I said I’ll do it - so here it is…even with all the criticism that I am getting and suggestions to NEVER put anything like this publicly as people would try to replicate and do it themselves and it could be dangerous (!)…considering they don’t know my hydration and electrolyte status at the time!  So, let me mention it - I was always under influence of my father who saw me dieting for one of the shows in Yugoslavia back in 1986 when I was cutting all the salt out and reduced my water to almost nothing…He told me that 2 of THE most important nutrients (yes! - he called them nutrients /substances that provide nourishment essential for maintenance of life!/) are SALT and WATER…and that I should never cut them out! Of course I didn’t want to listen…until I got myself in trouble at the 1988 Universe - when stupidly I didn’t drink for 3 days 🤡 and cut salt completely 🐵…Thank God I survived. Well, after that I would put 2 grams of salt on every meal (sometimes more)…as most of my athletes are advised by me to do the same…and I was drinking my 6 liters of water per day - religiously (more if thirsty)… and I didn’t cut it out for the shows - as I was using mentioned diuretics in a way I estimated it would be the best. I am sure people will freak-out when they see what I used here 😳 on day of the show…But, it was very controlled and needed due to time constraints. So let me issue  a warning: do not try this at home (or anywhere/anytime).

Basically, Milos said he had a health scare at the 1988 Mr. Universe, and after that - he started adding 2g salt on every meal. His dad warned him that sodium is necessary to survive, and not to mess with it.

Then he posts a death cycle with a warning not to try it at home - but it's a little hard to read, so I just glossed over it. Milos was notorious for writing everything down.

No problem, Mike.

That being said...lol...

I'm not sure if a PC will help! I tried to translate Milos' writing using the Google lens reader that reads text from images, and this is what I got for the first page:

Quote

I can make out certain parts - where he's using 12 IU of GH daily for instance...some of it is particularly hard to read though, even zooming in! Haha.

Wait, what...is that 32 IU's of GH, just on this one Thursday?  ???

Or...even more? He takes two types of GH in the morning?  ???

He recorded how many grams of protein, carbs, and fat he had for every meal and totaled it for the day as well as calories.

Yes.

And in one day [Thursday, May 2nd, 1996], did he use 24 IU's of "Humulin R" and 15 IU's of "Humulin N" [presumably, both GH] + 150mg of Aldactone + this?:

humilin is insulin, humilin-n is long acting and humilin-n is short acting.  neither are use by modern bbers if they have the choice, humalog and lantus for meals and basal control, respectively

Not that - but you're not way off, lol.

I guess you can predict me pretty well!

What seeing this does make me wonder though, is if steroids are somewhat of a slippery slope thing...I never wanted to go down that slope.

Everyone starts off with one cycle...every pro ultimately started somewhere. It just makes me wonder if it's better to avoid them all, as eventually you get to the point of abusing them [possibly].

But on the other hand - I already spent years doing that.

I'm just looking for a one-off cycle, to make gains, keep them for as long as one can do that, and then go back to normal. I loathe the idea of needing to depend on anything to look however I look, aside from training and nutrition.

Personally for me, I can't get past 185 without my stomach expanding. I just want to do one cycle and be done with it. Reading what pros do makes me think bodybuilding is a bit of a fraud. I still don't even know what the average pro would look like 100% drug-free.

So...was Milos not using 39 IU's of GH a day?

Just wondering if I am reading that wrong. This was from 1996.

Also, what is the standard dose for Aldactone?

In any case, it sounds like he was using a tremendous lot.

I'm no cryptanalyst, but on May 5, 1996, he seems to be saying he had Hitler's fillet for lunch.  ???

Also, big fan of the 3 a.m. weigh-in and red highlighter with black outline to make the '237 lbs' jump out at you. The three exclamation marks give a rare insight into the excited state of mind of this thonged warrior. I agree - this piece belongs in a museum.
