Remember several  years ago when house prices plummeted? I encouraged Goodrum to buy something but he wasn't interested.

I don't buy his story about the lady selling the house for $30,000 less than he offered. Total fabrication somewhere. Nobody forgets offers on

property. I rather doubt he had that much money to offer. It is so easy to BS online when nobody can prove otherwise.

Mr Canada 1914 might  be right here.

Waiting on VG to explain how 20k over offer was forgotten.

She forgot?

You offered her cash last year and she sold for less than half in 12 months? How old is this woman Vince?
And how are you still talking to her if the new owner has started renovations?

If everything you’ve shared is accurate Something about this woman is off.

That why im so pissed.   I honestly think she felt more  comfortable selling it to a friend but nothing i can do

That sucks, the good news is you’ll have more opportunities to purchase property  in the near future .

Do you still have the land in Texas?

Vince, wouldn't you better off putting this money in  a IRA vs a savings account?

have no savings account and i no longer use debit cards.  I keep most of my money in my 401k, an IRA from all of my previous jobs, and an Etrade account for buying and selling stock.  I ditched the debit card 2 years ago and now only use an Amex Platinum.  Same with my business as well although i use a Wells Fargo credit card and just pay the balances off every month to avoid paying interest.

I do on occasion take advice from people from Getbig.  Yes, i still have Texas land but its really nothing but a very nice view with dirt and shrubs with no power lines for miles so if i was to build something, it would have to have solar and wind but its not suitable for long term living but for riding an ATV or horse and shooting but good for collateral and loans if i ever need one

Vince if you build something, even in remote areas, the power company will run lines.

Goodrum reminds me of AL Roker for some reason, except for the part where AL is successful.

Good price for the polo might have overpaid for the car in this market, but it’s  only money so yolo!

Shows the cost differences in other states. (New England)

My Ma lived in a local 55+ park for 16 years. She bought the place (looks like Vinces home) for 100K back in 2005 or so.
Usually these tin-cans lose money and get hauled away eventually.

She just sold hers for 150K, actually made a profit with this insane market. Even the tuna-can houses are making bank for people...

Vince, with the Benz having 300K miles on it.

Have you had any issues with it?

Does the AC work?
