Working at home, and in a chair all day has it draw-backs too. In the last decade, my hips and back have become worse, tight, bad.
Working on that now though.

So, in the last year or so, I've experienced this, never thought about it being driven for WFH and in a chair, but I think you're onto something.

Noticed this year hips weren't engaging "automatically" in my baseball and golf swing.  I need to fix this.

Getting a rack/barbell at home was one of the best decisions I've ever made.  Love being able to workout completely on my own schedule/agenda whenever I want.  I do miss the social element and 'tang sightings of the gym however.

I train at home too....only two gyms here,  both on college campuses and after paying seven hundred bucks for twelve years in a row and no more contests on the horizon I had to say see ya` to that place.

I find I don`t need any of those machines anyway.....I do miss leg machines though but my legs always sucked no matter how hard I busted my ass in the gym,  and I`m sure that me being closer to 70 than I am to 65  I`m not gonna` build  Platzlike quads anytime soon.  LOL
