So here is the scoop I applied to be a part time theft prevention officer. I thought it would be fun to play part time cop and get a security uniform like Mike. When I showed up to interview they told me they wanted to put me in appliances full time. I never applied to be in appliances or for full time work but I figure what the hell I will try it for a week or two and see how it goes. I thought it might be fun it wasn't it was actual work and then they had me moving shit around in the department. So I quit. End of story.

I have tickets to see Badfish at the brewery at 10:30 so I am heading out in my vette with my girl for a date you guys can spend the rest of the night arguing about it.

Just because my lower back that has a herniated disc and my surgically repaired knees don't like standing for 8 hours a day doesn't mean I wouldn't backhand this entire fucking board if it came down to it.

Really Bhank??  Lowes has work and lifting exemptions if its medically approved.   They would gave just sit you at the front of the register with a high stool. 

I worked there for 5 years so im not sure why you are saying this?  Not only that, there may be some lifting but so what???  Real men push through the pain

I am sorry I am an office worker I tried a non office job and decided it wasn't for me. I was getting lower back pain after standing for 8 hours not worth it. Could I have continued doing it if I absolutely needed to yes but it wasn't worth it to me. Would I beat the shit out of you without breaking a sweat yes absolutely.

I didn't work at Lowes but I think something has opened elsewhere up if you want the job. I am not trying to break my back moving appliances and cabinets but by all means you can have it.

I never said I inherited anything and again I applied to be part time security. I thought it might be fun then they put me in appliances full time when they saw I had a degree and could do credit applications and sales. I didn't get a chair. They had me working too many hours on my feet and it was not fun so I quit. But yeah I felt like I needed to make it a week first to prove I could and I did. I actually was the top sales guy in the department with the most credit applications my first week but yeah they also had me moving shit and it paid nothing and was too much time so I quit. If any of you want the job by all means you can have it. I was not hired to do manual labor I was hired to do sales but the freight guys would leave shit in the wrong spot and I was the designated muscle in the department to move it. No thanks not my bag

While working at Lowes, Bhank probably disappeared for long time periods: taking unauthorized breaks and unauthorized lunches. His supervisors probably got tired of trying to track him down. He was most likely being outworked by people who had never trained a day in their lives. When he was actually working, he was COMPLAINING about his problems. Not exactly a “team player”.

It absolutely bewilders me that anyone would want to work.

Where I live, you can live comfortably off $750K to $1.25M+ in assets.

I did everything I could to reach that figure as fast as possible, and never looked back. I will NEVER answer to some dumb shit, or lunch his clock, EVER again.

The concept of working for some stupid asshole who I dwarf in IQ offends me to the core.
