Notice that Julius' chest looks like complete shit. That's why I laugh my ass off when people suggest some special training technique would make the difference.
I would have incredibly 3D delts, if I bulked up enough. That much I'm sure of. And I know my chest has looked ok after a pump at times. But it would still be a weak point. Take Lee Priest - his chest was never great, even during his competitive heyday. Johnny O. Jackson's calves were not likely even 14". Or maybe - just 14".
A lot of these things are genetic.
I'm personally grateful that I'm just in general, pleased with how I look. But I accept that I simply don't have a large muscle fiber density for my chest, for instance.
Sometimes I see people [at public pools, for example], and I am shocked at how shitty their genes are. Meanwhile, on the flipside, Julius has basically an 800-lb raw bench! So genetics are a mixed bag like that.
