funny family guy episode.. funny thing is that the REAL tom cruise actually does care about how tall he is, that's why he always wears lifts in his shoes..

so much for being a high level OT with powers over MEST (matter energy space time) that 1) with his powers he can't make himself taller and 2) with his powers that he's still so insecure about his height... so much for being a higher being and spiritually enlightened!...

He's doing better in the MEST universe than almost anybody.

The movie was OK. Pretty cheesy with some cringe-worthy scenes. Story was lacking but the action scenes were watchable. The fact its light years ahead of the woke crap that Hollywood is pumping out these days says more about the failure of Hollywood than the success of this movie.

Downloaded it a couple of weeks ago - enjoyed most of it TBH - it is what it is.  Enjoyed seeing the GPz750 in action again... also appreciated the Val Kilmer cameo.  3 things though

Nobody walks away from a 7000+mph disintegration
The 'romance' was entirely unnecessary padding
The 'Firefox' style theft of the MiG(?) was also a bit unneeded/BS

Actually, you make a really good point there, that might be why a kind of average movie felt good to a *ahem* more mature viewer like myself ;D
