Eat a balanced diet. These people make it sound so difficult. Don't eat all meat, don't eat all vegetables. And, also, don't eat too much. Burn more than you take in. Smh
Part of why I consistently under-eat is because I get caught up in this "every food is toxic, according to diet extremists" stuff, Christopher.
Though I've had experience to know that my blood work and all health markers are perfect [optimal] at 1,200 to 1,500 calories daily.
No worries there.
But when I go below 1,200 or maybe 1,100...problems happen [for me = high TSH].
So I tend to agree that we only NEED around 850 calories a day for optimal health. HOWEVER...unless we select carefully, we may end up nutrient deprived.
I think I was slightly.
Of course, I'm not talking about bodybuilding - just health.
I'll be aiming for 1,500 calories daily, most likely
I guess truthfully, I don't have time to research 50 studies on whether salads are "toxic", so at some point I need to just trust people.
