That's why there should be time limit of say 10yr max of being a politician.
And Not being a politician should be a High requirement for being President.
I hear you on term limits for politicians. The only problem with this many folks have no desire to become politicians. There is a potential for House and Senate seats to go unchallenged or even unfilled.
Technically, there is a time limit for politicians to serve. Senator's terms are 6 years. In the House the term is 2 years. Governors’ terms vary from 2-4 years depending on a state's laws. Governors also have term limits. Most two terms. When these terms expire, they can seek reelection depending on total term limits.
Currently in the U.S. many incumbents are reelected by the people term after term after term which is one of the reasons there are so many career politicians in the U.S. Unless they do a terrible job, incumbents have the advantage of being known which is why they are so often reelected.
Should Governors also have no political experience?
How about Mayors?
