Here in Tx it’s been horrible this year. 55 of the last 60 days have been over 100f and 14 were over 105f. Twice we’ve seen 111f. I live in the brazos valley so humidity runs high even though we’re in a drought. I work in utilities so I’m outside all day, if it weren’t for pedialyte I’d be fucked. My electrolytes stay screwed up even with the pedialyte. Cantaloupe and watermelon seem to help a lot but regardless all my lifts are drastically down and my workouts are shit. Any advice?
I work construction so I can sympathize.. even though I’m up in the Midwest where temps are more moderate. I don’t even bother lifting on workdays, even if I did get a good performance in, the resulting next day soreness would make work suck. The heat and the workload keeps me lean, and all the sweating makes me look extra defined

Lite salt is a combination of potasssium chloride and sodium chloride, the same electrolytes as in sports drinks. Adding a couple shakes of this to pedialyte or sports drinks boosts the hydrating qualities of them. Stay safe and stay strong sir.
