Not a fan boy by any means, but you could see a precedent being set. Same thing with Star Trek.....It hit at the right time.

But those other movies are one offs, that I can't see how they garnered such a following. Just like Kill Bill, they are Redbox quality. Weirdo movies, that got an artificial push to influence the ants.

But what do I know? My favorite "actor" is Jean Claude Van Damme. He's what got me into weightlifting, MMA, and martial arts.

Van Damme had a huge influence with MMA going mainstream in the U.S.

Bloodsport.....Kumite... . those were the inspirations of the first UFC's. No weight classes, no holds barred. Awesome.

I liked it but all Pacino did was yell all through the entire flick like a total idiot.....he was a great actor when young and hungry,but not anymore.

Dune was visually spectacular, otherwise it was a mess.

Black Panther gets my vote though. The movie was just hot garbage and it stood out even more as it was at a time when Marvel were could do no wrong.

Guys, we are talking about your most overrated of all time. Black Panther was certainly overhyped, but it wasn't a bad movie.
