Cliffhanger - Sly accidentally drops climber to her death during heroic rescue. Lives in shamed self-exile until one last rescue let's him confront his demons and go back to the mountain to redeem himself.
Daylight - Sly accidentally kills a group of people in NY tunnel during heroic rescue. Lives in self exile until one last rescue let's him confront his demons and go back to the tunnel to redeem himself.
Samaritan - Sly as a superhero accidentally kills someone in a heroic rescue and lives in self exile as a garbageman until he get's one last rescue let's him confront his demons and become a superhero again.
While predictable, Sly is a master at the theme of redemption just like Shakespeare repeated the tragic themes of hubris, jealousy and conscience. I hope it's a great film.
