Acer Chromebook

Got one a few days ago.....$184.00 marked down from $350.00 ....seemed like a no-brainer and the guy who sold me my used laptop a few years back saw me coming.

Gotta` call and find out more about it and watch a few tutorials on YT but so far it`s great.

Anyone else here got one and if of so pros and cons please.

Thanks for that GR......I`ve seen that but didn`t read it as of yet cuz I`ve been busy as Hell....a few drawbacks to it as I`m finding out but I only use it to browse the web so thus far it`s not too shabby.

My old laptop weighed 405 pounds....I could have done deadlfts with the fucker......I also have a tablet I never use and a desktop PC that my wife uses that I bought for myself but could never use as she was glued to some game hence I bought the older laptop from a guy who loved selling the POS to me.  LOL

They are good for web-browsing and email, if that's all you mainly do, they are probably fine...

That`s about basically all I do....not much literature came with it at all,but as mentioned lots of stuff on the web I`ll check out later,....I have to be in the mood to read that kinda` crap.

Most people have way too much computer than they actually need. Why pay thousands for a super computer the pentagon uses when you are only going to use it to go online?

I went to Wal-Mart to buy a mid priced laptop cuz mine just sucked balls.....anyway a sales associate says come with me I may have something that will interest you.....it was the Chromebook on clearance for $184.00 from $350.00

Donn`t have a link as that was the last one at that particular store but it`s an Acer Chromebook 317....I`d call the stores in your area....they might have some left.

The big drawback with a Chromebook is having to use a Google account and Google Chrome browser.

Google is now spying on you all the time.

You can use other browsers if you install Linux.
