288 shooting in 13 years, that counts any gun discharged near a school even minor injuries. TRUTH is FOURTEEN mass shootings since 1999, with 169 deaths. Tragic as that is lets compare...

8,050 kids were killed in backyard swimming pools during that same time period. That is correct, the common pool is almost 50Xs deadlier than these school shooters.

The reason i make the comparison is it shows that the media can make anything look like a pandemic. Just by focusing coverage. If they wanted to they could make the entire nation shiver at the thought of someones swimming pool. All the pool owners would be vilified. People would be dumping dirt into them and virtue signaling on forums with ignorant memes.
