Lake Tahoe Bodybuilding Classic.

August 13 & 14th.

Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Tommywishbone

I entered three (3) classes.

One 1st place
One 2nd place
One 3rd place

It was my first bodybuilding show in 29 years. I’ve been a competitive Powerliter my entire adult life.

60 years old
6 feet tall
Weighed in at 212.5

Seriously tho-

I was following everything he was eating everyday in the what did you eat yesterday thread. And thinking to myself 'who eats like that everyday?' Figures he was getting into contest condition.

Congratulations on the 1st place as well as the 2 other medals. Nice job.

And did you say you could deadlift 585 for 20 reps, Tommy? Or am I misremembering that? I think you said you could do it for 12, but within a few weeks could get it up to 20. That's what I can do with 405 at 40, which I consider pretty strong.

Awesome physique!  I remember a video of you squatting 500 for like 10 reps or something a year or two ago.  Great job man!

405 for 20 is incredibly strong!  I don't know about wishbone's deadlifting, but I seem to remember a video of him squatting 500 or possibly even more for smooth clean deep reps.  It was very impressive.
