LOL
NOBODY has a 99.9% chance of surviving COVID.
The odds of dying from COVID are 1 in 6.
Probably even higher if you have an autoimmune disorder.
😎
I'm not talking about the lifetime chance of dying of Covid, which is more like 1 in 100, or maybe as high as 1 in 33.
That's like saying I have a 1 in 7 chance of dying of the flu, because there is a 1 in 7 chance I will die with influenza being one of the causes of my death.

There is a 1 in 6 chance that each of us will die with Covid listed as a cause of death, OAK.
But as I've told you AT LEAST HALF A DOZEN TIMES BY NOW, Covid is RARELY the primary cause of death.
But you're getting the math so wrong, it's embarassing, OAK.
USING CANCER as an example:
There is like a 3 in 10 chance that anyone here on Getbig will EVENTUALLY die of cancer. That is NOT THE SAME as saying if we get cancer TODAY, that we have a 3 in 10 chance of dying. As the odds of survival are much higher among younger people.
I can also use normal seasonal influenza as an example:
Maybe 1 in 7 of us will eventually die of a flu - be it as a primary cause of our death, or as a secondary cause.
Maybe it's 1 in 22. I don't know.
But according to your misuse of statistics, you are saying IF I GET A FLU TOMORROW, I HAVE A HIGH CHANCE OF DEATH. 1 in 22, or whatever proportion of people die WITH a flu, you are attributing as the odds of dying of a flu per instance of contracting one. Even for perfectly healthy people!

That is patently absurd, and frankly, completely idiotic.
NO! FOR THE FINAL TIME - NO!
I may have a high chance of a flu being one of the causes of my death - in 40 or 50 years.
It may be 1 in 7.
But my odds of dying of the flu *if I get it tomorrow* is probably closer to 1 in 300,000.
Are you suggesting that if a young and healthy Getbigger gets Covid, he has a 1 in 6 chance of death?

So if 6 healthy Getbiggers get Covid, do you think one of them will die, OAK?
