I stopped riding on those things a long time ago.

Just take a look at the people who set them up.

Thank me later.

If you have HBO Max check out Class Action Park. That documentary is about some of the injuries and accidental deaths at that water park in NJ. The staff admitted they barely knew what they were doing.

I have never been in a roller coaster. And I dislike rides. I never understood the appeal.

Plus, most of the rides are not really inspected by trained professionals.

In the permanent major parks like Six Flags they do a thorough inspection but accidents and system failures still happen.

It was in India. Not Dubia India, but the still shitting on the side of the street India. The ride was probably sold as defected.

Lmao, I'm glad you said that. I told a White chick recently that when non-Brahmin Indians become the majority here, they will be shitting in the streets.

It's amazing how many young White people - and even older ones - think we will be better off with more diversity. Meanwhile, none of these people ever flock to non-White areas. And that's all the evidence I need that they don't believe what they say.

Before reading your post, I read this from the news article posted just above:

The traveling carnival has since been shut down, and officials are investigating whether operators had all of the required safety permits and inspections.

Lol, since when does India care about safety inspections?  ???

?

And that's when I thought about how they shit in the streets in India...and then I read your comment, literally minutes later.

There have been many carnival accidents in the States.  I read a story years ago about how a carnival will shut down after an incident, then reopen in a new state – there was no national regulatory agency to close problematic operations.

Dunno if it’s still the same today.

I'm pretty sure the safety inspection consists of them bringing over an elephant and having it step on and shake the ride with its trunk. If it doesn't fall to pieces, it's safe.

Although we still have similar things to this -

in the US.

My old man used to take me there to ride the wheeled sleds down the concrete halfpipes.

Knew that guy was trying to do me in!

Child eaten by alligator.

I don't blame Disney for that. They suck but I can't hold them responsible for ravenous reptiles.

Did they use the same actors in multiple movies?  The black guy was a football player who was crushed in a gym.  Did he survive this accident?  I don't remember the guy next to her dying that way.

Ha. Summer, late 80's - mid 90's there wasn't a weekend in late July through August that someone in our crew wasn't coming back from there battered and bruised. Dislocated shoulders, jammed fingers, black eyes from fights in the parking lot. I even remember a severely stubbed toe that kept someone limping for a few days.

I went to that place in its heyday.   Great times.
