I don’t give the slightest fck. Would absolutely never happen at the high school my kids attended. I am good friends since high school with the Principal / Athletic Director and football coach - and they both carry as do quite a few of the other teachers. We haven’t had a murder in my home town since the early 1900’s. I personally know of two instances where guns saved victims (one scumbag was killed).

Yes, it is safer than most countries regardless of the mass shootings. The reason is that people have guns and this deters some people.

Look a the murder rates by country in 2022. The Virgin Islands with a bunch of savages give the US a bad statistic. Overall US homicide rate is 4.96. If you discount black-on-black and black-on-white murders the US homicide rate would probably be close to China's numbers!

Even Greenland has a higher homicide rate!

Ban guns  the unconcious will just find another way or an alternative means to kill people. Better to allow for good people  to have the means to protect their family,  themselves and community at hand. By the time the police arrive it will be too late, relying on police for protection is futile.
