Well it's been a
few years couple of decades, so it almost certainly would nowadays LOL. But no, it didn't affect 'the engine' back then, it just made it run for much longer without a dramatic emergency stop
On the other hand, plain old 'speed' ((
non-meth)amphetamine sulphate) in huge amounts could indeed make it more difficult to 'bump start the car' but once the engine was running, it allowed me to act like the degenerate I am deep inside, so keeping the engine running was no problem...
But - if I drove the engine for too long, or edged the redline too many times, it would on occasion decide to just slowly run out of petrol and cruise to a floppy stop. And no amount of frantic 'hand-cranking' would restart it again
(and don't even mention the wicked cystitis from the l-cysteine!😱)
TL/DR - Not to my knowledge, but I took nearly as much shit as Dorian and Chris Cormier, so who really knows...
