This is by far, the best Kevin Levrone. 1997. 99 Grand Prix was a product of lighting. While Heath beats him in back double and conditioning in rear lat spread, Kevin is better in every other pose. He's wide, full, lean, big legs, great posing, great separation.

he didn't lose size, he was more conditioned in 95 you can see it in the trap separation

post a pic from 2002 or 2003 and you'll notice a big difference

I would 4th that. He had crazy definition.  His arms and legs were huge. He looked wild at that time.

I think you’re right. It’s the combination of dense, full muscle with overall shape that made his GP show so impressive. You don’t see that kind of thickness in ‘92 although he was very lean and his waist was tiny

You can say he was small in 92 but not flat possiblya tad depletedbut not flat.. He definitely timed his peak correctly.

Yes the comeback was sad. He really had no business being on a pro stage. BUT outside of being on stage (at the top 2bodybuilding contests in the world) what he was able to do at 50 +53 years old after being off for so long was pretty remarkable.

Does anybody know what made the GP competitors appear so much better than all other contests? Was it the French parabolan, dehydration from the long plane ride or the European pie filling?

Although it has been repeatedly stated that Priest had the best arms, I always though Kevin at his peak had the absolute best arms ever in bodybuilding. Shape and size of both biceps and triceps were incredible.

The only downside was that he did not have the tall bicep peaks like Ronnie Coleman or Robby Robinson (purely genetics)
