That menu item has got to be over 20 years old by now. I doubt the people working there even know who 'bob' is.

Ask the waitress if she knows the history of the bob bowl. Explain it to her. I'm sure she'll find it riveting.

This has galled me for a while.  It's an insult to the sport and also honsetly just bad business for a place that is the Mecca.  $25 or $30 for a signle day fine, but $50 is just a clip joint insult.  And as total revenue it's a pittance.  I'm certain it deters enough so they are actually making less money for something that costs them no additional expense (a few more a day at best in a very large gym).  They also are losing goodwill and pictures from fans who want to stop in.

I can easily afford, but it's not like it's Disneyland.
