They do look more discolored. Some of his varicosed veins may have thrombosed. He's probably getting little clots forming in the vessels closer to the skin surface.

But, still, the human body can only take so much.

And if he does survive the next 10-20 years, there’s little hope he won’t have done considerable damage to himself.

If there is ANY underlying health issues, the drugs will turbocharge their “coming online”, too.
