Incidentally, I leave for Singapore on Friday. 

The tourism has been hit hard here too.  It was just this past October 1st that they dropped their mandatory mask mandate.  All the markets are subdued.  The restaurants have been barely half full.

I finally got around to taking some friends shopping for gear here in Bangkok today.  The scene hasn’t changed much since I was here last in 2019 except prices are better.  The best place to look is still right off the BTS exit of Sala Daeng. Now there are pharmacies all over but you are not going to have any luck with Boots or Watson.  You can find things in there but mostly test based and not a good supply. 

Since business can’t list steroids on their signs or windows they have to find another way to send the signal that says “yo dude drag your protein farting ass in here and buy this shit”.  The way they do this is by stocking bags/tubs of protein powder and other supps in the window.

I hate “ haggling!” …. Seems like a lot of work to buy some shit (Kinna like back in the day that guy you had to go out to lunch with and listen to him babble just to get some stuff) …. I’d much prefer if the prices were just the prices like a regular pharmacy….  Thank you for the information tho!/ invaluable if one were ever to go there!

100%, lurkernomore's post gave me flashbacks to haggling over everything in Thailand LOL ... easily my least favorite part of being there.

The funny part is when/if you go in there and ask for ambien or something like that, they claim they don’t have it. But after you make a decent size purchase of roids they suddenly remember they had some in the back.

No I don’t live here. I don’t know about weed or rec drugs. But I do know if you go in certain places and ask for the cobra whisky (whisky with a real cobra in the bottle) and then tell them you want the “real” stuff you pay more to get whisky and a bit of GHB. Which means suckers run home telling their friends “yo dude I drank cobra venom as it fuckkkkked me upppppp.  I don’t remember anything. “

Cannabis was decriminalized in the kingdom of Thailand in June 2022 , now they have a very progressive prime minister !.

Cannabis shops a popping around, I think there is 1 in Soi Cowboy (Asoke & Sukumvit Soi) Bangkok , but just like the bars they will open & close in very
 
short time. Guys don't buy any small tablets from anyone on the streets or you could end up for years in famous Bangkok Hilton, and you will

be sharing a room with another 50 males 

Every Thai pharmacy sells steroids & other sporty staff , usually they get you juice in 1 hour !. Health food shops a in all market centres !.

OBW, don't visit Thailand with your chubby  wife  (or you gonna kill yourself) !.
