It was Valentine's Day. Ray was spending it with a new girl and planning a break with Sally. Sally was pissed. If she couldn't have him nobody would. The trap was set. It was 3 days before a contest for Ray. Sally told him he looked like crap, ect. They argue. Sally leaves. Sally grabs a shotgun and shoots Ray while he was cooking chicken. The fatal shot. He didn't see it coming. As he was down and dying she shoots him in the face. She calls 911, and tries to claim self defense. There wasn't a mark on her. She has an extensive history of violence. Jury doesn't buy it. Kids go to the other side of the country. Stop seeing her after a while. Many years go by. Kids have PTSD from military. Son is a drug addict that abused ex-wife. Daughter a mess as well. Sally gets out , marries another black man. Sally has no remorse. She just loves black cack.
Decent documentary. Most important fact, THE SCHMOES are a loyal bunch. Long live the schmoes!
There's something really off with the son. The way that he speaks, facial expressions, mannerisms....that kid is a sociopath for sure. For obvious reasons. But i didn't 'buy' his account whatsoever.
I'm sure Ray had a temper but it's pretty clear thst Sally wasn't just an innocent battered wife either.
What did you make of the story about Ray gouging some guys eyes out? Bullshit? The two old black dudes (Ray's dealer and training partner) sounded the most credible so far.... Im only halfway through the series but it's pretty good.
Side note: I was watching this with my wife. She doesn't give a shit about bodybuilding at all. Thinks it's pointless and gay.
1. At the beginning when Sally is describing how she got into bodybuilding and joined Golds Gym and said she and Ray loved watching Arnold's movies, my wife laughed out loud and said "oh my god! All you fucking meatheads are all the same!"
2. She's never followed bodybuilding and wouldn't know Lee Haney from Jay Cutler but as the clips of various contests and bodybuilders were shown the only one that she was impressed by was the brief shots of Dorian. She let out a knee-jerk "oh wow!"
