This “new” girlfriend wasn’t new.    Ray had several girls while married to Sally.  Sally was a hot mess.  Always fighting everyone and anyone in her way.   She had a huge history of physical violence.   Ray was a woman abuser but was not in anyway not fights every weekend like Sally was.   Ray may have gotten into an occasional physical altercation like many of us but he was not one looking for fights.  He was more of an easy going guy looking to party.   

I was not friends with Ray but was friends that were closer to his old inner circle back in the Corps.  They ALL warned him to get away from Sally but she was a cash cow but not a wealthy one.   She would just give him every dime she had and some guys have a hard time giving that up because it means he could do less and worry about himself more and having fun. 

I seriously doubt Sally could ever change who she is.  She has patterns that are just part of who she is.  It’s unfortunate she’s out.  The second shot to the face at close range while he begged for his life is why she should have never gotten out.  She had other choices that night and one of them is to not even be there.  She chose to be there because she wanted the fight that night.

Anyone who knew them from back in the day knows sally killed Ray out of jealousy and whilst he might have hit her, she started nearly every arguement, and would have been throwing hands first in a jealous rage, did he bang everything white female and with a heart beat, you bet, but he was always like that and so were all the other high test brutha hood rats, just a jealous mud shark. She murdered him, and traumatised her kids with her own steroid use and behaviour. He was no saint but She's no victim.

Thanks for your take on Sally, but is it possible for a psychopath or an asd person to let her companion exploit her physically and financially?
Here is my take, she hasn't seen love and been abused in her formative years, and I guess her natural temperament was also highly impulsive to begin with, but that doesn't mean she is a psychopath, I believe she has above average IQ but definitely not a high functioning psychopath or something.
Her lousy parents wasted an otherwise a gifted athlete and a possible PE teacher.
I try to nurture my son best way I can, if the love, care and support isn't there no amount of potential can turn in to a wisdom without wisdom personality just decays.

P.S: I admit, I would be one of the schmoes who would be contributing her 100k bail 😂

I still have on tape the episode of "American Muscle" I recorded during Christmas break in 1991. That has the footage of the 1991 North American Championship where Ray McNeil won the title and Sally and the kids are posing with Ray, as he stands with the overall title.
