My thoughts after finally watching this.  Every time someone said "schmoe", I laughed my ass off.  I'm glad Ray got killed.  He was a piece of shit.  Putting his hands on children, let alone another man's children is justification enough.  Sally is obviously a mud shark and has real issues as evidenced by her going back to that same well after getting out of jail.  I think she was justified in her actions and did too much time.

Using Ronnie as an example isn't working.  You could look at Ronnie and tell that he had a lot of frame to fill out before he started his Mr O domination.  Ray you could look at his frame and tell he was pretty maxed out at that point.  There wasn't any more room to grow or improve.  He was capped out so to speak.  No amount of drugs or training would overcome that.  Sort of like Meadows hitting his potential and not budging no matter what he tried.
