Played a few hands of black Jack with C. Thomas Howell at mohegan sun a few years ago. Very cool guy. Was down to earth having a few drinks and very friendly. We talked gambling and watches.


Took a piss at the urinal next to tommy Lee about 13 years ago at the hard rock in Vegas.invited me to his cabana for a drink so my buddy and I went out and had a couple drinks with him. Guy was surrounded by hotties. Was very cool the whole time.

Saw Viggo Mortenson at the college bookstore after I was done training......he had long hair at the time, and is originally from this area and attended the college where I was training,as did Kirk Douglas....he was going out,I was going in....I did a double take then no fucks were given....he should have asked me for my autograph,I would have been glad to oblige......I felt sad that he missed out !!

I saw Mickey Rourke about 17 years ago in South Beach Miami at 3 am. He was walking so fast it was almost a jog. We were the only 2 people on the street. Walking right toward me. Arms swinging wildly, massive strides. I thought for sure he was looking for a fight.  As he got closer I saw his face was smeared with coke.  Had a thousand yard stare. Walked right past me as if he never saw me.

I met Muhamad Ali in 1990 or 91 in Auburn Hills. Didn't say much but shook my hand then reached into his inside jacket pocket and pulled out a pamphlet on the nation of islam and signed it and handed it to me.

I'm sure there's been others but those are the only two I remember at the moment.

A fair few - I was records secretary for a society in uni so we would frequently have guests over (usual deal was it cost maybe 10k for 1st class flights hotel and they would want to see Ireland (Nancy Cartwright drove around country for a week) or relatives (John C McGinley - the scrubs guy). Dirk Benedict came back to sleaze on girls hawk a book about some diet he was using to get erections and beat cancer. We also had Mickey Rooney (people only asked him about Simpsons which pissed him off, when he asked "any other questions?" it just went silent so he rambled on about the war and some movies he did before time was invented)

Will Ferrell I didnt really talk to much, Leslie Nielsen was cool, very funny in person just wish I had seen Airplane before meeting him... fair few top rugby players as Leinster academy is next door but apart from Bryan O Driscoll most of you probably wouldnt know any.

The 2 most notable were definitely John C Mc Ginley as his condition to come over was that he could bring a drinking buddy (some guy called Conrad who was an ex NFL lineman I think?) - went on the tear with him, stole all the champagne he was getting to table and he was just very easy going enjoyed the whole thing and didnt take himself too seriously - Conrad was pretty cool too.

Chris Pontius trained at my old gym for a whole summer back when Jackass was still huge (2003 or so) as he was dating his now wife at the time so seeing her family and friends here. Very nice guy, very quiet, no one ever really bothered him I just said hi and made small talk a few times but what stood out was when a trainer in gym was working on a light and the bulb fell out he rushed over to see was the guy ok and helped clean up the mess. Shows the difference drugs and  tv camera make for performance.

TONY danza in nyc he was rollerblading around where was doing a theatre show  ,i said hey tony whats up?,local bar in jersey i grew up where all spranos shows were taped,furio 'federico castellucio'was in a bar i was at and i called him by his real name not furio lol,,he said whats up bro...not a celebrity but popular ny newscaster chris wragge is customer of mine great guy,tall and looks the part .

Summer 2002 Gatorland in Florida. Hardly anyone there. Then Shaq & his wife walk in right behind my wife and I. We talked for a bit. As they were leaving I asked him if he liked Jessie’s bike. He said he loved it as he started to walk back toward me. His wife did a a-hem and he turned around and left. He wanted to talk about Jessie’s bike

John Madden. Nice guy, he did some sort of business in a building my father worked in, saw him in the elevator here and there a few times. I was little and didn't get why it was a big deal.

Madelene Albright. It was boring. 

Spike Lee, saw him on the street and the old "40 Acres and a Mule" store he owned. Shorter in person.
 
Tony "Felix from the Odd Couple" Randall at a doctors appointment. Nice guy, made small talk with everyone.

Saw Robert Deniro at the custom knife counter in Paragon, an expensive sporting goods store. Did a double take, then got over it. He was doing the shy Deniro thing with people.

Lots of rappers - ODB, KRS One, Flavor Flav, Big Pun, Fat Joe, some others. Still talk movies with RA, The Rugged Man here and there.

Family members are in the movie business so I've met lots but the one individual who impressed me most was Neil Armstrong... the first man on the moon.

The one amazing thing about associations with actors/actresses is how easily they can become someone else during a normal conversation. An d that 'someone else' is usually the next character they be will be portraying in their next movie.

One statement I hear a lot at family gatherings .... "Dad, Just be you today!"
