Serge Nubret was a testament to the effects of a high meat diet, up to 8 pounds of meat a day during prep, no carbs, being it was horse meat obviously it was grass fed, dude never had any injuries, never had any heart/kidney/liver problems, was training 3 times a day (abs in the am, ate a meal, trained 1 body part, ate another meal, trained another body part in the evening, ate another meal). His death was mysterious, where it is said he was in top shape and was scheduled to guest pose at the Arnold, it's said that he was poisoned by his daughter (a doctor) to get his money/land, in the hospital they did scans of his heart/liver/kidneys all were completely fine, after years of high red meat consumption and steroid use. So when they say you need carbs to train its all bullshit!
