Mike was also known for his strength. Louie and the Westside gang had a negative view of bodybuilders.
There's always been that w/ PL and BB, etc. (Not just Westside).

Mike was different, he was allowed to train with them, and was stronger than most of them. (Another was John Meadows).

John was a very strong squatter...

Remember back when you could see the different delt heads on the guys shoulders? Mike was just hitting his stride too. He was about 32-33 when he had his issues
