"The Butcher" got 2nd - flew all over the globe to sponge his Olympia qualification without any risk at some backyard show in f*ing Romania and got beaten by some No-Name. That was the last Olympia qualifier for that year. That's it, he and Matt Janssen f*cked up big time ;D

Not getting "owned", but surely is getting beaten.

I think him and Nick made huge mistakes leaving Hosstile.  They were seen, and heard from every week.  Went from not being known to having big followings, and making coin off of it.  Brett wasn't even mentioned on the podcast as being gone.  I found out watching one of his boring ass training vids where he talked about it.  That was the last time I watched his channel.  He'll be a 2-3rd place guy overseas and maybe Toronto.  He'll be mid of the pack at smaller shows in the states, and end of the pack for NY, Tampa, and TX.  Doubt he ever gets an invite to the Arnold going forward or qualifies for an O slot to compete.  I like his physique, but he is just not there when on stage competing next to others IMO.

LOL! Still impressive.  You can tell he had genetics in the first pic though. little but rounded delts, and long bicep bellies.

To Mike's post.  I prefer them training in clothes.  I'd rather they just maybe do some posing in just trunks/shorts if I want to see actual progress.  Shirt or no shirt you could tell Iain was making very good gains, and the video where he deadlifted 8 plates for reps in socks no less was impressive.  If I remember right, he was doing straight legged deads with 4-5 plates in the same vid for 8-12 reps.  I've never seen anyone do either.  :o

  I got ya….  Me I don’t care how strong they are (how much they lift) when I see them all jacked up ….that motivates me! (Oversize hoodies and shirt’s are for when you are retired (and shrinking) I know what it takes to look like they do ( it’s 24-7 365 eating every 2 hours / supplements/ “super supplements” ..  proper sleep / rest…. Cardio … living a “ monk like lifestyle “ meal prep there is so much that goes into it … show that shit while you can! … before it’s gone too late!

The guy in the green is Wilkin? I actually thought he looked just a bit better than the no name but no name has great shape, tiny waist. They both look pretty good.

Whether or not either end up being successful remains to be seen. I think in order to win pro shows both would need to put on a lot of size, especially in the quads and back. So much size that they'd end up looking like shit.

1. Behrooz looks incredible, definitly my favorite physique in the pro ranks. He isn't a no-name, he placed well in a few shows
2. Brett's move of picking the last show of the season to qualify for the O was arrogant as fuck and I hope he learned his lesson.

100%. Fouads podcast built these dudes names and gave them exposure. And that's in spite of Brett having zero personality.  You hear him on the new podcast he's on? Snorefest. Same story with Walker. Nobody knew who these guys were

Then, what is it? Are they training for explosive speed or strength? studying defensive coverages? or grappling? Doing any kind of other training aside from  one body part a day? No

 
No, They are taking a boatload of drugs sitting on the couch.

having the meal prep company drop off the food to them putting it in the microwave eating it and then going to the gym for an hour and heaven forbid they do 45 min walk at 2.0 mph.

The only thing that’s sets him apart from any other  gym rat is he’s a hyper responder with elite genetics And more dedicated to the diet  off-season force feeding  to grow.
