'24 is a long way off but right now Desantis is a shoe-in. Trump isn't. Trump candidacy is poor strategy.
Point to the numbers that show Trump has better odds of winning than the guy who just steamrolled the Democrats in Florida.
I'd rather not roll the dice on 4 more years of Biden. Have a winning ticket. Desantis/Gabbard. Game over.

You have Dems already yelping about the 14th amendment to disqualify Trump from running again, because of the "insurrection". Even far-lefties are PLEADING with Merrick Garland to try and indict Trump.
Why would they be doing that, if they think Trump is such a pushover?
Again, I love me some DeSantis; I live in FL, remember. He's the reason we were only locked down for less than 3 months in 2020. And he reopened the gyms and restaurants. And the Mr. Olympia was here for two years

You actually have to BEAT Trump in the GOP primary and everyone who has tried has gone down in flames, including (as mentioned earlier) SEVEN very popular two-term governors who clobbered their Dem challengers. DeSantis has the out of being committed to us Floridians for four full years. Once he does that, the MAGA kingdom is his (with the Donald solidly behind him).
The Never-Trumpers have to be solidly behind one guy. The problem for them is they HATE DeSantis too. If they back anyone else, Trump will destroy that guy.
