Thor is back to Powerlifting
« on: November 15, 2022, 01:37:27 PM »
He recently said he's done w/ boxing. He got into great condition, and beat another non-boxer,
but he knows where he stands as it relates to pursuing the sport. Smart move...

He's training for a full power meet (Raw) in DEC I believe.

His goals for the meet as of now I think are 200K bench (440 lbs), 400K DL (880 lbs) and 400K squat (880 lbs)..
1000K total. (2200 lbs).

He broke his own world-record last week in the weight over bar at the Roque event in TX.
A few years ago he hit a 1100 lb total, so he's not far off. (But still down in weight).

He also hit (weighing 435 lbs):

SQ - 970 lbs.
DL - 903
Bench - 551

Some great numbers for a part-time PL...

Where is your video? You claimed 150lbs and that you'd post it. Bullshit Bhanky

You can't do 150lbs. You thought you'd tell us you could so you could use it to motivate yourself to get up to 150lbs. Then reality set in when you tried and barely curled 100lbs.

Truly pathetic Bhanky. No wonder your parents never loved you.

I am going to be in a curling contest in 30 days you can stream the damn thing live. I am meeting up with the world record holder this Sunday to train again with him on the official bar and an actual regulation platform. He said we are going to do singles for an hour. I don't think I am going to set any records or win anything but I did strict curl 150lbs and I would hope to curl more at the contest.  Regardless though it will be fun lifting and having something to train for is always nice. I am going to get schooled and crushed but hopefully learn something and get some good training in. I will say my biceps feel really good after doing heavy singles and volume last night it's that deep in the muscle kind of sore hopefully will translate to gains

He made a million for slapping around Eddie. Mission accomplished. He wont make money boxing if it gets real and he gets destroyed.
Seems to know his limits.

There's zero money in Powerlifting. Thor makes plenty of money (Game of Thrones, his Icelandic Yogurt company w/ Terry Crews, etc).

I'm happy to see it. He's a strong fucker, even at this reduced bodyweight, and it'll be good to see what he can hit if he sticks with it for a few more meets.
