What is it with Turkey and comestic surgery? All the bb's are going there for hair transplants

My brother got a hair transplant there. It was cheaper for him to spend two weeks there getting the surgery and vacation than it was to do it in the States.

yea it was like everything that I had in investments (but …. I was spending between 1000-2000 per tooth on root canals and crowns … wasn’t getting anywhere …they said I needed bridges and like a “pop out tooth “ or 2 ….  Lol wasn’t going to be talking up a girl and my tooth goes flying out of my mouth lol! I was going to the dentist every 2 months and spending a fortune…. And they kept getting worse! So I did some research on implants and oral surgery and the best certification they have and sought someone out who met that criteria ( I had consultations at like 6 different places including “ clear choice “ which you should steer far away from!! … ) my surgeon had these qualifications

Yeah teeth suck, my family has “soft teeth” so they get cavities easy and are a pain in the ass. I got a friend who brushes his teeth maybe 3 times a week, smokes,drinks,eats crazy candy drinks lots of soda and doesn’t get cavities or have bad breathe. I eat no sweets or soda or smoke or drink and I have lots of dental issues as well. I spent 12k doing lots of crap to them about 10 years ago and about 3k last year. I truly hate teeth. Genetics same as everything I guess. Thanks for the info Mike. They look great now. Just so much money.

This was “ the final solution “ (I have to work until they lower me into the ground (bad planing for the future) … so I can’t be applying for jobs with a mouth full of rotten missing teeth…..I suffered with infections (jaw/ bone infections) extractions….many root canals….  Painful root canals….. crowns … etc etc I had enough! …..this to me is worth every penny!

You could rob a bank.  Hide the $50K you get, go to jail for 6 years by claiming you had a drug problem and spent all the money.  Get your teeth fixed in jail.  Get out.  Wash the dye pack stain off the money and be $50K richer with new teeth.

I think he does. I don't think it's anything to brag about otherwise he'd be a lot more specific than "fortune 500 company." He's so nonchalant about all his other private info like his address etc that he wouldn't hesitate to give his job title if it was impressive.

Did they say these implants would hold for sure? My dentist refused to do it because I have a history of tooth loss like you. They wouldn't last according to them

yea they drilled into my jaw Bone and installed 12 “abutments “ (most people usually get “ 4 on one “ or eight abutments all together…. They also had to do some bone grafting (as I had bone recession in my jaw) … the problem with going to Turkey is I have been to the oral surgeon/ dentist probably 50 times in the last year (needed 2 surgeries just to remove all my teeth ) then it had to to heal ….had to go in and get the temp teeth removed for x- rays and to make molds and casts …. One of the top implants or abutments broke while trying to put in the permanent top implant teeth ( so that was another surgery to install a new implant or abutment) right now a year later I have my permanent/ dental implant teeth on the bottom and in a few weeks I get the tops put in … I couldn’t stay in Turkey for a year nor fly back and forth! … you have to have someone drive you to the surgeries and take care of you (they don’t allow “ Uber” or a taxi … I ended up losing 30 pounds! (Can’t eat obviously and in so much pain can’t really drink either) it’s been a hell of a process / journey! But I would do it all over again! .

thx and yea I did (a full set of 6 on one dental implants) crazy huh?   * these are only the temp plastic teeth …… I’m still going thru the process of getting the full set of implants put it (so far I have the bottom ones in waiting on the top) been like a year process full of surgeries/ anesthesiologists …. Just a huge process! … I started fighting the anesthesiologists and oral surgeon while “out” And swallowed my own tongue …. So that halted that surgery and it’s been one thing after another!

If the finished product looks as good as the plastic teeth when this procedure is complete, it will be worth all the cost in dollars and pain. The temps are a huge improvement. Much better choice that old style false teeth. Might as well get them as white as possible while still looking natural.   

I have the good fortune to still have 30 original teeth. Two molars were extracted when I was a kid for orthodontics, (overbite -  buck teeth). I even still have all four wisdom teeth, although two have gold crowns because I cracked them chewing ice.
