Day 2...
This unique competition was created by 4-time “World’s Strongest Man” and Icelandic strength legend Magnús Ver Magnússon, who also serves as the event designer and competition officiate. It’s become an annual showcase for traditional strength challenges, beautiful (and sometimes brutal) winter backdrops, and some of the top up-and-coming athletes in Strongman. Day Two events at this year’s Magnusson Classic include the Husafell Stone Carry, Stone-to-Shoulder Medley, and the Stones Farmers Walk.
Strongmen currently scheduled to compete include Jacob Finerty of the US; Maxime Boudreault, Colten Sloan, and James Jeffers of Canada; Iceland natives Eythor Ingolfsson, Kristjan Jon Haraldsson, and Stefan Karel Torfason; plus Kim Ujurak (Greenland), Pierre Motal (France), Ervin Toots (Estonia), Vilius Jokuzys (Lithuania), Ryan England (UK), Mika Torro (Finland), and Rongo Keene (Australia).
