Well of course....then the politicians who push this stuff through will somehow just magically own or have stake in businesses that operate in the developing nations.

India and China are the biggest pollutors, they have a poor distribution of wealth
a third of the people in India are on the breadline, do you think they are going to give a fuck about CO2 emmissions?

Not only industry and toxic agriculture, vehicles have no emissions control. Smog it's at the level of 1950 Los Angeles.

Not that I believe in this Climate change / Global warming has any thing to do
with what humans are doing & if we are then its minuscule.

Supposedly Fossil fuels are a "big" contributor

China has over 1100 coal fired power stations & building another 95,
Some reports suggest they have over 3000 coal fired power plants.

India in 2nd with 250 & building another 25-30.

America 3rd 230 odd.

So China is 4,000 years old but it’s an “Emerging Nation”?

🙄

The world would be a much better place if we’d all admit that FIGHTING climate change is a lost cause.

Let’s take all of this money and instead invest it in infrastructure (roads, bridges, buildings etc…) that can withstand the weather.

but that's not what going to happen, the top 1 are hoarding wealth because they know when shit goes south they'll have the resources to escape it. They've already sunk the ship, they're now stealing all the lifeboats.

Good point.

Hopefully the “climate change” trend will start to wane.

There has ALWAYS been bad weather and the earth’s temperature has NEVER been constant.

If they get the world population down to their goal of 500 million it will fix the “climate crisis” and every single one of those people will be really happy.

Climate  change is the permanent condition of our planet.  Folks are making a lot of money off of it.

Every 4-5 weeks the Sunday edition of the LA Times has an 8-page insert from China Daily featuring praise and pride at economic growth and things CCP.
Last year an article claimed that China’s economic growth has brought 750 million people out of poverty.  That leaves about 750 million still in poverty.   ::)

You're singing my song.  :D

China is also building 100s of coal-fired plants for other nations.  They produce more electricity from coal-fired plants than we do from all sources.

We in the West will pursue renewables while China pursues one 5-year plan after another, allowing China to take the lead in the world economically.

This whole Climate Crisis is a gigantic work.

Besides, the only way to combat harm to the planet done by humans is for the species to forge ahead with technology and innovation.

“Cutting back”, etc., is a fool’s plan.

the only answer for climate change is to reduce the world population with spike protein injections
