The Walking Dead has ended.

Well yeah, sort of.

Ok, so they were last seen in the Commonwealth pledging to grow as a community, survive, enjoy peace, etc...   Just like they did with the prison, the farm, Alexandria, Hilltop, etc..etc... the common theme is that they arrive bring trouble with them, overthrow the community leaders, make it their base and then it falls apart later on.  Group was nothing but bad luck.

And what are the chances that the two most irritating characters on the show - Carl and Judith - came from the same set of parents.  I was happy when Carl died, but then Judith was more annoying.

I stopped watching a few years back, it got unbearable to me. Loved the 1st few seasons though...

So glad it’s over.

The past few seasons have been hugely diminishing returns.

The three new spin-offs I will NOT be watching. Fear the Walking Dead began OK, but after its first couple seasons, I was out.

I only watched TWD the last couple of seasons because I wanted to end what I started.

Rosita croaked. That actress is next-level beautiful. But whatever.

For me, only Daryl and Carol mattered, really. I actually like Judith, but … yeah.

P.S. Negan turned into a largely-lame character, relative to where he started. The final shot of the series should have been him resurrecting Lucille and caving in Maggie’s head, Glen-style. With that patented evil chuckle of his.

The show was suspenseful, filled with action and would pull at your emotions.......BUT after a while, the plot became the same over and over again. Core group sticks together, slowly adding or reducing members (some added on after being enemies, others removed after being killed or finding another way). Core group travels looking for a place to call home. Core group finds abandoned places, forms their own "town", town gets attacked by outsiders. Core group battles outsiders and sooner or later have to move on to finer pastures because the dead have caught up to them. Core group continues and runs into more "bad guys". Rinse and repeat.

Coolest character was Negan I think.

Made absolutely no sense.  They had 12 years to come up with an ending.  No way you walk in that mud without a nibble.

Also, the last episode of the second-to-last season featured a poignant F-bomb. This final season, they were tossing them around every episode. Very upsetting.

Standards and morality is dropping off a cliff.

I’ve never seen FTWD.  Not a single episode.  I think I will try out the one with Terry Crews in it next. See how that it.
