Shaq: Rookie of the year. '00 Regular season MVP and '00, '01 and '02 Finals MVP.
He recorded the highest maximum vertical reach ever measured in pre-draft workouts. He could extend 12 feet, 5 inches from a standing position. NBA ring height = 10 feet. Shaq height = 7' - 7'1.
He'd often grab a defensive rebound, run the entire floor and dunk it on someone.
Look how he effortlessly wrecked Jordan in the first 5 seconds of the vid.
Sir Charles: was awarded the MVP of the year in '93
over the GOAT MJ and Hakeem.
Was the MVP of the 1991 NBA All Star game. No big deal you reckon? His opponents were Magic Johnson, Karl Malone, David Robinson, Clyde Drexler... and he finished with a huge 22 rebounds, which was twice as many rebounds as Karl Malone had who was the Wests leading rebounder. Charles had MJ, Wilkins and Ewing on his team.
He too would often grab a d.rebound, run the entire floor and dunk it on someone.
At around 6'4-6'5, he was out-rebounding and destroying 7+ footers.

both were fit, both were aggressive and powerful, both were excellent finishes near the rim
and both looked like they never worked out, let alone lifted weights, let alone juiced.
Were they non responders to exercise?
Anyone know of other pro athletes like these two?
