You should start a training log/journal......it would make for good reading.

Hi Wes !  🙋

When is your bodybuilding competition, I want to come and spectate ?

I am working on trying to get my squats up. I had plantar fasciitis and had to cut back a bit. My goal is to do 225 x 7 - 8 reps in the summer. I'm a leg pressing maniac for the time being.

I've been busy and couldn't find time for emails. My home gym expansion is back under construction. I will send you pics.

Shockwave treatment works.  While a bit pricey...its one of the few things I have found helps athletes return to activity.

Sounds great Jane !!

Unlike some idiot here after doing nothing for 5 full years other than to eat tons of junk I am giving myself a year and a half to get ready.

Right now I`m rebuilding and regaining muscle as well as power, and if all goes as planned no one will touch me by contest time as I will be ancient/ancienter.

Will be ramping up everything and adding in lots of cardio and tons of gear!  :D

Plantar fascitis can be bad.

I've had it in both feet.

Arch supports in my shoes cured mine.

Trained back with a messed up knee. My knees are generally bullet proof until the last leg workout. I did legs then went to my retirement job where I stand a lot. It was a painful shift.

Today:
Wide pulldown
Seated lat cable rows with a V handle
Dumbbell rows with a knee on the bench
narrow pulldowns
deadlifts
weighted hyper extensions
wheel roll out
machine crunches.

Tried to use good form, range and cadence which can sacrifice weight used. One deads I felt myself get out position and ended the rep. Pissed off but with maturity I realize tomorrow is another day to fight and a injury could end lifting. Felt a lower back tweak during a rep and ended the set moving on.

So went to the gym and killed arms last night and the shoulder has felt pretty good so far.

Alternate standing db curls 35x50,40x40,45x32,50x25,55x21,60x17,65x15,70x13,75x9,80x7,85x5,90x4,95x2,100x1,35x20,15,15.

Superset

Vbar Pushdowns

Stackx80,75,70,stack+25 x 50,50,45,stack+45x 35,35,35,30,30,25,25,15,15,12,12,10.

Stronger than usual so the last 5 weeks or so resting up and doing rehab has helped quite a bit.

Thank you sir. Arms are all I can train heavy since the shoulder, other than this it’s 5lb laterals, front raises and rears.

The delt tears really suck.
Mine got better to a point, but still very limiting. (125 pounds less on Bench because of pain, embarrassing)  LOL  :(

Yeah I don’t think I will be going over 135 on bench if I ever bench again.

I have a hip issue that most forms of deadlift seem to aggravate, so I do that instead for a “hip hinge” movement.

Would love to watch you hip thrust sometime.  Definite homo.

Keep pushing those weights.
