Great workout Cook.
One of the guys on my team at work is in TX.
He grew up in Michigan so is used to foul weather.
But he tells me about the morons out there in TX when it snows, they are all over the place literally.
IM in NH and normally we're mobbed with snow/cold/ice.
Its been warm (40) and Springlike (not much snow) all Winter so far... Enjoyable for a change.
Most people in Texas have little experience driving on ice.
Plus, the majority of municipalities don't have the equipment to clear/prep the roads.
It always made me laugh how bad people in Houston drove when the roads froze.
I stayed home from work on ice days just so i didn't get hit by some retard.
Where i live now the roads ice over all the time, but people are used to it and they are maintained reasonably well.
I live in the mountains and my drive to work is all downhill, about 2000 feet in elevation change.
There are a few turns and intersections that claim someone almost daily.
We have a tree outside my subdivision that looks like it's been hit by a thousand cars, at least.
The section of road is always shaded, so when the other sections are halfway decent, it's always solid ice and catches people off guard.
The total cunit that lives across from me nailed it for the third time a few weeks ago.
I just drove by her and waved as she was stuck in the ditch.

I always have a tow strap in my toolbox, on an icy weekend i drag a handful of people out of the ditches every morning.
