My 13 year old died on Sunday.

From the influenza A virus.

They weren’t vaxed for Covid or flu either.

They were type one diabetic though, and every virus they ever caught had taken longer and longer to recover from compared to the last one.

So sorry to hear that man. Nothing compares to the loss of a child, you will never get over it but in time can learn to live with it.

All the best to you and your wife from other side of the world. As a doctor myself I've seen lots of parents who have dealt with the same pain as you have. Hardest thing to go through. So sorry for your loss.
