I can't imagine how annoying life would be if I was Marty Champs height. From sleeping to taking a piss/dump to having to eat more food & taking more PEDs... hell no. Sounds like torture. I guess they get used to it.

Imagine having to either tuck your knees up in bed like a fetus or having your feet/legs hang over the edge of the bed every night :-\

No thanks.  Would rather be Darren A's height in da cage!

Thing is, you're not lengthening your upper body with this method, just breaking the legs.

Let's say you go from 5'11 or 6'0 to Martys height

Upperbody is the same, but now you have ostrich legs instead.

Someone would be a fool to be trying to replicate Marty Champs senses. (would always smell paint thinner)

You'd still be sleeping with your knees tucked under your chin, pissing 10 feet from the toilet, driving with your knees blocking your view, risk getting your head scalped by a custom built 6'6 helicopter, possibly get your head tangled up in a parachute......

I wish I had Marty Champs senses of peace and G_thangs no piece of sense. Life would be great.

I cannot fault this young lady for doing the surgery.  Being a midgie is Hell.  I am terrified of wee folk.  Almost as much as I am of spiders and the worst thing I can imagine is a horde of midgies riding spiders...

WHEW!

But yes, I am happy for this girl and hope the best for her.

Do they have joint problems when they get older?

Do they have joint problems when they get older?

Little people frequently suffer joint problems as they mature because they are more prone to arthritis. Also severely bowed legs cause problems. The difference between the before and after pictures of the young lady are amazing. Not only are her legs longer, but they also don’t appear to be bowed.

A couple of inches can make a big difference in their lives. Consider that everything we use in life is made for people of average height.

She looks better but should still not be wearing a skirt. Those legs look terrible.

I agree the scars look bad. No way to know how much time has lapsed since she had this procedure. Some people scar more than folks, but it could be that the scars are still in the healing process. Wearing dark or opaque hosiery until she is healed more is one option. Pants is another.

Interesting suggestion about her having the option to wear pants. That's not a traditional look for women, this is a very liberal idea coming from you.

Again, I am happy for this young lady, but...We all know that bhanky is fuming and consuming himself with some vile plot to belittle and berate her for obviously not having any "bone on bone" issues.

She must lose her balance often with those miniature feet.

She's used to that size but you are right, until she becomes accustomed to her new height and relative top-heaviness she will have to be careful.   I am still happy for her.
