Do you have the historical data showing Toronto shootings going back 20-50 years? I'd like to see how Toronto shootings were in 1974 when the city was 98% White, and had one murder, and then compare it from 2001 to present [roughly where your data covers], which was one Toronto started massively escalating the replacement of White people in Toronto, who are now at 48% of the city's population.

As I said, it was 98% White in 1974 - and extremely safe, with virtually no murders. I'd like to know what the overall shootings were back when Toronto was almost entirely White.

Matt, the page I saw only goes back to 2004. However, each year it seems to get much worse.

2015: 288 shootings, 126 injured, 26 killed.

2016: 407 shootings, 152 injured, 41 killed.

2017: 392 shootings, 148 injured, 39 killed.

2018: 427 shootings, 178 injured, 51 killed.

2019: 492 shootings, 240 injured, 44 killed.

2020: 462 shootings, 178 injured, 39 killed.

2021: 408 shootings, 163 injured, 46 killed.

Given that there’s no political will to bring back street checks, increasing gun violence appears to be inevitable.
