I had to Google what racking is. So Bumstead is pulling himself by each limb to increase his height? Wtf has this sport gone to. Lol
I don't know if Bumstead is. People think either Bumstead is cheating (competing at a much higher weight than the max for his height) or the rules are being altered on the fly to help him.
But, according to Logan Franklin (a Classic Physique competitor, sponsored by MD), a number of them are using inversion tables.
Franklin himself complained about how the IFBB keeps measuring him at 5'11
1/2", meaning he has to compete at 222.
But, he his medical records and driver's license has him listed at 6' tall. He wants to compete at a higher bodyweight (230 or so).
What does safety have to do with professional bodybuilding?
I used the term, "safer". Rather than doing all the tricks the 212 guys do to make weight, some of these dudes are racking themselves to be taller (temporarily).
Is that a "safer" practice, in the long run?
