Wow. That was surprising. He actually made Ronnie look small there. In fact Jay compared more favorably to Ruhl.

Normally not a fan of Ruhl- no forearms, no triceps, oil in delts, oil in biceps

Ruhl is killing Cutler in the above pic his legs are bigger and more detailed his chest is also making Ronnie look small I agree his physique got weird later but for a very brief time Ruhl was killing everyone before they even knew who he was and he had "paid his dues". The problem is by the time everyone figured out who he was his physique started to decline.

Marcus Ruhl Night of Champions circa 2000-2002 was phenomenal one of the best ever. He has actually maintained a lot of his size. He is 46 in these pics a year older than me. Yeah he is still a really big guy with really big arms(no triceps and oily biceps) but he is not exactly lean and he has weird looking tits and weird scars on both arms probably where they had to remove abscesses.

To be honest I think my physique looks a lot better at about the same age not as big but it's not just about size.

But yeah I agree if he had won the 2004 Olympia I would not have cried foul he looked great

It had absolutely nothing to do with Ruhl being “unknown”. I met him in 97 and he was well known.

Ever since I first saw him I have said that if Ruhl had triceps he would have been damn near unbeatable. I don’t have the skills, but if someone could photoshop ONLY his triceps I think it would prove this.

Side note - I have never met any human that smokes as much as Markus. We hung out a few hours and I swear he smoked at least a pack in that time. I’m not sure if he was fckn around, but he said he would take a smoke break between training and cardio! Very cool guy.
