I’m actually going into the gym tomorrow to cancel my membership. I haven’t been in a few years and it’s a waste of money so I think I’m finally pulling the plug.
Training at home is much better and there are no excuses.

We were all idiot kid newbies before

What does this have to do with taking off one’s shirt? I don’t know many newbies who go topless in the gym.

Been in gyms for 44 yrs, never saw it even once. However, our gym owner said a couple of years ago, HS kids starting to go into the turf-room and take off their shirts.
(He's owned the place for 20 yrs, and said "its a new thing, probably seen/copied from IG".
He told  them to put them on, and hung a few signs around. I  guess it never happened again.

People are funny...

I don't see what the problem is with a dude taking off his shrt while running (as long as he is lean) (it makes far more sense to me than running with a shirt on)

My problem is with those who go to the gym to run/walk.  Like.. you couldn't do that ANYWHERE else and for free? When did going to a gym to walk/run become the norm ??? Strange times/world..

You've been paying membership for a few years but not going?

I look it's to take a shit, there's 3 stalls there in this restroom, I just laughed to myself and proceeded to train, but I've never seen that before in any gym I've trained at🤷‍♂️

What does a butt plug have to do with your gym membership?  ;D  ???

Seriously though, if they are worth anything for sales they will try and lower the price or some shit like that.  Shit like that irritates the fuck out of me.  I cancelled my lifetime membership when they were going to raise the price.  The sales guy called me into the office and said he would lock my old rate in for a year.  Did the opposite for me as I called it a big scam

I like that the place I go to has high(ish) prices (though still only $500.00 for the year).
All the morons go to the $10.00 a month Pizza-Planet. Keeps our place (mostly) retard-free... There's always a few around though..

people drive to the gym then go on the running machine

Fucks sake, run from home to the gym , turn around and go home again and save £30 a month

he wasn't a kid, he was mid 30s and an experienced runner, dude just wanted to take his shirt off.

The dude must be full of himself. From the back he doesn't appear to have anything worth showing off in a gym.

I fast walk on the treadmill at the gym all the time. I stopped running years ago. It is better than walking in the rain or around a mall with a bunch of other old folks. Also, gym memberships are free for me because I have Medicare Advantage which offers free memberships using the Silver and Fit program. The gyms get paid when only when you show up. I go to several different gyms for a change of scene and a little variety.
